This Privacy Policy explains how Ai Ling Tsui, a sole proprietor doing business as Anna Tailor and operating as Anna's Tailor (also styled Anna's Tailor & Alterations) ("we," "us," or "our"), located at 200 N Greensboro St, Ste A-2, Carrboro, NC 27510, collects, uses, and protects your information. Information we collect
We collect only the information we need to take in and fulfill your tailoring order:
- Contact information — your name and, if you choose to provide it, your mobile phone number.
- Order information — details about the garment(s) and service you request, drop-off and pickup dates, and related notes.
We do not collect payment card information through any website or app (payment is made in person, by cash or check), and this website does not use tracking cookies or advertising trackers.
How we use your information
- To prepare, track, and complete your order.
- To contact you about your order, including — if you provide your mobile number and agree — by text message (SMS). See "Text messages" below.
Text messages (SMS)
Providing your mobile number is optional and is not required to place an order. If you give us your mobile number at our counter, you agree to receive order-status text messages from Anna's Tailor and Alterations, such as notices that your order is ready for pickup or that your pickup date has changed. This is a point-of-sale opt-in: our staff enter the number you provide in person and confirm your consent at that time.
- Message types: transactional order-status updates only (e.g., order ready for pickup, pickup-date changes). We do not send marketing or promotional texts.
- Message frequency: varies — typically 1–3 messages per order.
- Cost: Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
- Opting out: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe at any time, or contact us at hello@annastailor.com. Reply HELP for help.
How we share information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that make order texting work — our text-messaging providers transmit the messages on our behalf — and only to the extent needed to deliver those messages. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Data retention
We keep order and contact information for as long as needed to run our business and meet recordkeeping obligations, and we remove or de-identify it when it is no longer needed. If you opt out of texts, we retain a record of your opt-out so we can honor it.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Contact details stored in our Anna's Tailor order-management app are held securely and access is limited to shop staff.
Children's privacy
Our services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version.
